Oak wilt control and other pest and disease problems, information on selection of tree species: (763) 263-8522.  Oak Wilt prevention is easy.  Do not prune, cut, injure or wound oak trees during the spring from April 15 to July 31.  If a tree wound occurs during this time, apply tree paint immediately.
